Our Story

In 2013, Andrew Kim, our founder, launched the first, one and only scalp facial treatment salon called Odjibik Hair Repair in the heart of Yorkville, Toronto. Now Odjibik has 4 locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Andrew is the pioneer of the scalp facial treatment, which was, then unknown to Canadians. He launched his own “Root Rejuvenating” product series line with the belief that “a beautiful hair starts from healthy roots and scalp just as a beautiful garden grows on a healthy soil”.  Odjibik helped more than 5,000 clients including many celebrities to keep their hair healthy from frequent exposure to coloring, heat, and chemicals.

Andrew has a quite unique professional background in the hair industry.  He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and worked for more than 20 years in the investment banking and management consulting industry before he moved from South Korea a decade ago. Andrew decided to open a truly upscale, urban, and trendy salon together with its 5th Odjibik scalp facial location in the heart of historic Gastown, Vancouver – It’s M Prive Salon.

M Prive is sitting on a 4,100 sqft open space mixed with vintage and urban design concepts.  We bring a trendy, luxurious yet comfortable salon experience to Vancouver, not only in techniques but how we serve our clients.  

 

We recruit the finest hairstylists from all around the world. We consider our team, 'internal' clients.
